The Nautilus

The Nautilus is the name of the submarine that Captain Nemo commands and is the main location of the book. It is covered with steel plates with hermetically sealed openings allowing travelling of immense depths. In this image the "cockpit" is covered with steel plates, which can be opened or closed if needed be. The lights are powered by electricity which is generated from sodium.
